How long do Lip Fillers last?

When will I be able to see the results?
The results are usually visible immediately. Your lips will be quite large and swollen at first. However, you will begin to notice a difference in your lips as the swelling subsides during the first week after your procedure.
What are the risks?
The risks of lip augmentation are minimal, but they do exist. Some short-term side effects that you may experience in the first few days include bruising, swelling, and redness. On rare occasions, as with any injection, infection may occur. Very rarely, necrosis of the skin and allergic reactions can occur. Ice is applied immediately after the treatment and recommended for aftercare at home to help with side effects.
Will it be painful?
The filler we use contains a local anaesthetic so after the first few injections the area becomes numb. We also apply a numbing cream to the area before the procedure to make you as comfortable as possible.
