Which areas can be filled?
Fillers can be used almost anywhere in the face to correct volume loss and fill lines. This includes cheeks, lips, lip lines and nasolabial folds.
How long does it last?
Fillers usually last between 5 months to two years, depending on where the filler is used. For example, fillers used in larger areas (such as cheeks) will last longer than fillers used in small areas (such as the lips).
When will I see results?
Straight away. At first the area will be swollen and red. You will notice the change after these subside.
Will it be painful?
The filler that we use contains a local anaesthetic. After the first few injections the area becomes numb. We also apply a numbing cream to the area before the procedure to make you as comfortable as possible.
What are the side effects?
As with all medical treatments, there are some potential and short-term side effects that may occur such as bruising, swelling, and redness. With any medical procedure, there is a possibility for infection. Very rare effects include necrosis of the skin and allergic reactions.
